Beginning of May we had to leave the EU to keep Eliot legally in Austria (90 day limit on a stay without a visa). So our cheapest option was to drive down to Croatia. My dad came with us which was wonderful not only because we were able to save on renting a car but also because he got to spend some valuable time with his grandson. It took us only about 3 hours to get there. Aside from a big fit when walking up to the castle Tristan was a VERY good boy the entire trip. The weather was also nearly perfect.
