On Sunday, June 8th, we had the pleasure of cooking a tasty "Schweinsbraten" with "Sauerkraut" and "Semmelknoedel" (typical Austrian meal) for Millie and Steve Kettel (Eliot's aunt and uncle from Washington) and Eliot's dad. If you scroll down the pics on the side of this blog you will see Eliot and me on our trip to Europe visiting the Kettel's son and daughter in law in Nuernberg. They have an obvious connection to German things and we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
